Text for the Day -- I John 3:16-17

We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us-and we ought
to lay down our lives for one another. How does God's love abide in
anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need
and yet refuses help?
Devotional
----------
Love is at the center of God's revelation just as God's heart is at
the center of the universe. God's love is the force that holds the
world together, re-creates after chaos and destruction, and builds
the bridges of reconciliation that heal. To be in Christ is to find
our identity in the love God has for us and was expressed through
Christ on our behalf.
Prayer

Tear down the walls in my life that block the flow of your love, O
Lord. Amen
