Text for the Day -- Psalm 136:1-3, 23-24

O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures for ever.
O give thanks to the God of gods,
for his steadfast love endures for ever.
O give thanks to the Lord of lords,
for his steadfast love endures for ever;
It is he who remembered us in our low estate,
for his steadfast love endures for ever;
and rescued us from our foes,
for his steadfast love endures for ever.
Devotional

In its finest moments Israel was caught up in praise and
thanksgiving. When we are caught up in thanksgiving in our worship it
means that we have seen and have experienced God's grace and goodness
toward us. It is difficult to manufacture praise if the heart has not
really experienced grace. Grace and gratitude - that is the rhythm of
life with God.

Continue to give me eyes to see your acts of grace in my life, O
Lord. Amen
