Text for the Day -- II Corinthians 3:4-6

Such is the confidence that we have through Christ towards God. Not
that we are competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from
us; our competence is from God, who has made us competent to be
ministers of a new covenant, not of letter but of spirit; for the
letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Devotional
----------
We are dependent on God for whatever we produce through our
ministries. We are not sufficient in ourselves in this matter.
Through the Holy Spirit we have received life and in the Holy Spirit
we can share life with others. If we try to do this on our own it
will be like the law that kills. It is the Spirit who gives life and
we have received that Spirit. Live and minister in that Spirit.

Thank you, Lord, for blessing me with the Holy Spirit. Amen
