Text for the Day -- Psalm 107:1-3, 7-9

O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures for ever.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
those he redeemed from trouble
and gathered in from the lands,
from the east and from the west,
from the north and from the south.
He led them by a straight way,
until they reached an inhabited town.
Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,
for his wonderful works to humankind.
For he satisfies the thirsty,
and the hungry he fills with good things.
Devotional

Sometimes it does feel like life is lived in a parched desert. Things
may go bad and we can feel left out of life or lost along the way.
But, God is faithful to call us home, calling us into fellowship with
God so that we may be fed and our thirst quenched. Be prepared to
thank, for God will be there for you.
Prayer

Thank you, God, for reaching out to me in my desert places. Amen
