My father was hospitalized over the weekend and found out yesterday morning he will have open heart surgery next Wednesday. Any and all prayers and thoughts from you fine folks would be appreciated.
In another thread I posted how I was going to be unable to bowhunt opening morning due to a "marriage seminar" at our church hosted by my father/mother.
I of course called my dad and jokingly gave him grief about finding some way to change the date so I could make it to the woods. Well, I told him yesterday this was a little "extreme"!...trying to make a little levity of the situation.
The recent happenings have forced me to reflect more on my life, my habits, my family, and of course what is truly important! Take time each day to thank God for all he has provided us, you never know when it may be taken away.
