Anybody use one of those 3# stuffers with the lever? If so, how does it do? Stuffing casings with my small meat grinder is too much work. parson

I have one. If I had it to do over I would not get it. YOu have to bolt it to a board and about stand on it to get the meat to come out. Look on the web at LEM products they have some nice vertical on horizontal stuffers.

I dont think LEM has them but there are water stuffers too. Where the water pushes the meat out the end.

I just oredered one of the 5# crank models from LEM. They are having a special that includes enough goodies to make a bunch of summer sausage and other stuff. Hope to get it pretty soon. parson

I have a water stuffer and like it. The trick with stuffing sausage is to add enough water so the meat isn't so stiff. Add enough so it flows out fairly easy. The water will cook out. h.h.

UPS delivered my new LEM 5# vertical crank stuffer last night, so this morning I had to give it a trial run. Stuffed 10# of summer sausage in no time! After struggling with the attachment on my small grinder for the last few years, this almost feels like cheating!
I used the LEM seasoning. I hope it's good. I'll have 4 sticks of it. parson

I've been looking at the all the options. I'm hoping Santa will bring me a water stuffer. I found another brand other than Dakotah and this one holds 15 pounds of meat.
