May not be for everyone but another favorite of my wifes.
Use any cut of venison you like I prefer a larger roast -1 cup Canadian Whiskey ( I prefer Crown Royal as it has high sugar count) -Spices of your choice -1 Large Vadalia Onion -4 gloves garlic(minced) or two tablespoons prepared -BBQ sauce of choice
-Roll venison on plate covered with spices -Heat BBQ to high heat -Sear meat on all sides -turn heat off one side of BBQ -put whiskey, onion, and garlic in roasting pan along with seared roast -place roasting pan on side of BBQ that has heat turned off put lid on pan and close BBQ(if lid interfers with BBQ lid use tin foil -cook till roast is just pink in middle -leave pan on bbq -take roast and cut into bite size pieces -return meat into pan with half cup favorite bbq sauce -turn heat back on both sides and reduce liquid in pan till thick
My family really enjoys this served with grilled veggies BBQ sweet potatoes and rice.
