This coming Saturday, 5 of my friends and I are going on a charter boat trip on Erie. Our captain originally told us we'd be fishing Ohio waters, so we all got our Ohio license. Now he says we'll be fishing Canadian waters, so we'll have to buy that license. So basically, we're out $11. No biggie. We'll be fishing with Angler's Edge Charters out of Port Clinton. I'll let you know how we do, and post pics. I've never fished on big water before. I am very excited! Wish us luck!

Good luck Decator. I really like to fish the big water. You can really drag in the fish if you know what your doing. Walleye and Salmon are really good eating fish. I'm sure if your guide is any good, you'll be fine.

I've mntd many Erie walleye over 10#'s , some up to 13W#'s. Good luck and good eating. If you are fishing Canada water maybe you'll hit some smallies.

Sorry it took so long. We had a great time! Our guide was top notch! We had a little motor trouble so our 1 hour trip to canadian waters turned into 2. Our Guide John Wukie, offered to stay out as long as we wanted, but we only took an extra hour or two of his time. I would highly recommend Angler's Edge Charters for anyone who plans on fishing Erie. The Guide and his son Nathan the first mate and a nice eye that Nathan caught. He ended up catching an 8# and a 9.5# walleye that day. Punk!! ;D A motley crew for sure! I didn't catch a single walleye, but had fun just the same. Nathan and his two pigs. My cousin Brandon and his first ever walleye. In fact all of these next pictures are first timers. My buddy Nick. My buddy Bryan. (poor sap is getting married next weekend) My buddy Nate. Nick found out the hard way that Lake Erie water+wind+6:30a.m.=COLD! www.anglersedgecharters.com/index.htm

No, didn't have any time. We were on the lake for 11.5 hours. We were all ready for the 3 hour drive home to be over.
