Have never been up past Elkhart. But am wanting to try the 6-span area sometime. I usually stay from downtown South Bend to the state-line. But thats only because I know that area real well. Get many walleyes up that way?

I know they taste fine, we have kept a few in the past. It's just that there really aren't that many around, and if you want fish to eat, there are plenty of panfish and catfish around. I would just rather catch them than eat them. JMHO To each his own.
