Went to Starve Hollow SRA weekend before last. Nothing. In my defense it gets fished to death. We pulled out and cut our losses and went to the Muscatatuck and caught a few catfish in the afternoon to save a little face. The cats seem to be hitting pretty well right now. Panfish are doing good also, caught a few at the house the other night.

Just got back from fishing in the Greene-Sullivan SF.We tore up the bluegills, and bass.We caught around 30 nice gills(bigger than hand size)and atleast20-25 bass. The bass didn't have much size to them, but I was glad to see my home-made chatter baits were catching fish.We caught the gills on silver Bubble Bellies or something like that.

How about some info on those homemade "chatter baits" of yours.

I decided to start making my own instead of paying $7.00 a pop. They are pretty simple to make. The only changes I made was I put reflective tape on both sides of the blades.I figured it would add more flash and it couldn't hurt anything.Mine caught just as many or more fish as the original my cousin was using.Add on a swimin chunk and they are deadly. We caught some nice ones when we went to Boggs using them.I have to say this is my number one bass bait right now.Below are some pics of them. fish caught using chatter baits

Looks like it's pretty easy to mix & match color combo's when the bass start getting picky on colors they will hit.

Nice looking CB's, LCB! Ya done good. They look sort of like the Venom cb's I've seen. Man, I knew I should've thrown those things in those pits..oh well. My buddy and I went there almost the last week of June and didn't really have a ton of luck. Mostly caught red ears and I did catch 1 bass that went over 14", but that's the only one. That is the 2nd time I've been there. It's pretty fun. We stayed in Shakamak which has nice facilities and a couple good lakes too.

In the spring of 2005, a bunch of us went down to the Shak in late April, and tore up the'gills! Caught some nice ones too! My dad and I caught most of our gills throwing topwater lures like the Rebel crickhopper. They wouldn't hardly hit live bait for us. Then we got that bad snowstorm/coldfront on the Saturday of our trip, and the fish TURNED OFF! The temp went from 70 to 29 overnight.
