Just returned from a week at Lake Vermillion, MN. Took my dad, son, two buddies and their boys. Rented a nice cabin and fishing was pretty good. We caught bluegill until we were tired of them, plenty of good walleye, northerns, largemouth and smallmouth bass. perch and rock bass. Ate a bunch of fish while there, plus we all brought home a nice mess.
Things were going smooth until the last day when a rock jumped in front of my outboard and did some serious damage. I think it broke the shaft or a gear in the lower unit. It's going to the outboard motor hospital. Had to get towed in 7 miles.

Sounds like a great trip, except for the motor part. Much better then when we went to Gull lake, in Brainerd MN. Brainerd was the hottest city in the nation that week and our cabins, although being only 5 years old and very nice, had no air conditioning. Talk about miserable! Glad you had a good time. How about some pics?
