Hello y'all! Been reading this for about a month, first post. Spent the last 5 days at the Greene Sullivan state forest. Low pressure front moved in with tornados to the south and rain every day and cold front. Fishing was tough. Managed to eat fish every night in camp. A couple of trophy red ears and several average size. Had to work for them. Might go back in a couple of weeks. Will watch the weather. Low pressure turns the fish off.

I've always found low presure to turn fish on, where as a cold front will give them lock-jaw.

Welcome! What body water were you fishing? Isn't Dogwood lake located on that state property?

Me too raporter1. I'm trying to find a place to buy down there, so I can spend a lot more time kicking around down there.

I am unfamiliar w/ Indian Lake. What town is it nearest? I might make one more trip to the pits yet this spring. Then Lake Vermillion, Minnesota in early June. Need to get some fishing and frog gigging in around home.

Not for sure, but I think Indian lake is in the HNF in Perry Co. south of I64. I have heard of good bluegills from the lakes in the HNF down there.

Not for sure, but I think Indian lake is in the HNF in Perry Co. south of I64. I have heard of good bluegills from the lakes in the HNF down there. That's the place. There are four lakes in that area and they are all beautifull. Indian and Celina are our favorites.
