Very cool.... The way the guy was letting the bass swim around I wonder if he wasn't hoping that would happen. The bass didn't seem to be THAT big for him to not just land it. Pretty cool, I wish the video would have continued to see how long the pike held on!

That is cool....we go up to St. Clair every year (heading up next week) and have seen that in person on a couple of occasions. Only difference is it is usually a muskie eating your smallmouth!

Great video!! I checked out the musky video's too. It's amazing the "knack" that some guys in Canada have for catching musky while lake trout fishing....especially through the ice when they are out of season. A musky hitting anything is impressive. Check out this picture. The lake trout was caught in mid summer on a lake that I fish each summer in Canada. The teeth marks measured 10" across. He definitly got away from a hog....
