For all of you who are familiar with the Rock Creek area of Roush Lake and the good white bass and crappie fishing that takes place there in the spring - The Run Is On! The white bass are up in the Wabash river and are stuffed full of eggs to the point of bursting! The crappie are also in the river. The bass seam to like the swift water and the crappie can be found in the slack water and most importantly along the transitions. Here's a photo of a mess that Jeremy Andrews and I caught this morning. I also fished last Sunday and the largest crappie we have so far was 14" and 1.25lbs.

We caught them while you were on your 400 mile swamp hike Decatur! We were using double jigs with 1 1/2 inch twister tails under a bobber. The Wabash is like fishing in that bucket you like but there are some fish there. ;D

Caugth a few more late yesterday. There still seems to be a lot of fish in the river. A couple of the ones I caught yesterday still had eggs in them.
