I've caught lots of smallies in the Honey Creek in Vigo County from US 41 all the way to the Wabash River.

Caught some nice ones below Jackson street dam in Muncie, and you can't beat a smallmouth float trip down sugar creek in between Shades and Turkey run...

There's too many people on Sugar Creek... The Big Walnut is closer to me, and a LOT less crowded! Haven't caught too many smallies either time Dad and I have been out (caught 2 the first trip), but then again we weren't fishing for them specifically either....

I use to have a old run about hull of a boat that the bottom leaked but the inside floor kept the water out. Me and 2 buddys could stand comfortably with out the boat coming out from under us and we would tear em up on the driftwood!
