White river near Martinsville 4/5/2006
Got out today and fished the river. Water is about 5 to 6 feet high and muddy. Water temp. was 54 degrees. I did use chickhen livers, nightcrawlers, crawdad tails and cut bait without as much as a nibble. Was a nice day to get out ! I did notice for the first time this year butterflies, spiders and a few other bugs. Wildflowers are also beginning to bloom.

Yeah Sam it was a beautiful day. We managed to bring home 32 decent crappies. Gonna eat good tomorrow.
