Anybody have one of these? I recently picked up a used boat with a 2001, 30HP 2 stroke Nissan motor. I don't like the fuel line connections. They are similar to a round hydraulic quick connect such as you would have on a tractor, not the standard Evinrude / Johnson flat connector with the little lever. This set up is difficult to hook up with fat fingers and drips a little gas. Anyone familiar with this? Have any ideas for remedy?
Thinking about taking it to the marina and seeing if they can switch the fittings over to the traditional Evinrude/Johnson style, or this motor may be getting traded off.

Thanks for the heads up on those connections. I've been kinda looking at them. I don't NEED a new motor, but you know. :-)

Took it to Portside Marina at Culver yesterday, and the dude fixed it in about 5 minutes. A rubber O ring was improperly positioned, now it works great. Put it on the water yesterday afternoon and ran it for about an hour, and everything seems fine.
Incidentally .... Was thinking about trading until I checked prices of new stuff. $5100 for a new 25hp Honda ! Wow !
