I usually only keep a few catfish and panfish. I always let bass, pike, muskies etc. go.

Depends on how bad I or someone in my family wants fresh fish. I do keep anything if we want a fish fry, minus carp.
Usually keep most panfish, trout, some catfish, some bass, some pike (when I am up north). But most of my fishing I C&R

I practice catch & release. First we peel off their jammies, then release them in hot grease.
Throw back one heck of a lot more than I keep. But I love fresh fish.

Keep the gills & crappies. Never keep a bass unless its hook deep & bleeding

I keep the eaters, and if I get that big one, I will keep him for the wall. Other than that everything else goes back.

I release everything... Unless I'm fishing my Dads lake then; if I catch a crappie or a rock bass I flip them up on the bank.
I love to fish but dont eat any. If I ever want a wall hanger I'll take a picture and measure it.

Keep plenty of gills and a few crappies in the freezer. When I have enough frozen it is C & R. Even gills.

I keep the bluegills, redear, sunfish, crappie, rock bass, & smaller catfish. Very selective on the large-mouthed bass though. Nothing like a mess of fresh fish & mushrooms in the spring.
