Wade. Nobletucky has some great spots. Anywhere you can get to the river, I bet you can catch smallies. Or float and get out and wade the nice looking holes.

I'm extremely jealous of anyone that has Smallmouth right outside their door! I have a great smallmouth river that runs right through the city of Logansport where i live, it's the Eel river. I can be there and on smallmouth in 5 minutes ;D It's one of the better pieces of water i have ever fished for smallmouth bass. I know people that come a long distance to fish it, including the guys from FlyMasters from Indy. I usually start fishing it pretty good toward the end of April once im done with school. Unfortunately i dont get to eat any of them, i just dont trust anything out of the rivers anymore.

As opposed to when. The rivers are probably a lot cleaner then they have been in 50+ yrs as far as municipal waste. Ask anyone who used to work in water quality 30yrs ago what the rivers were like then. Moderation is the key. But you can still enjoy a few meals if you choose, without fearing side effects
