Thought I would share some pics of yesterday's outing. Fishing was great but the catching was lousy. Good thing I had the camera with me as I got some cool pics I think.
The day started kinda cold & with lots of fog, so much that we milled around the ramp parking lot for an hour before we launched...
Eventually we got motivated and launched then idled to a nearby main lake point...
No luck at the main lake point so when the fog finally started to lift we headed "up the creek", along the way we saw a couple of critters like this buzzard soaking up the sun...
and big bird hanging out on a lay down...
A little while later we saw a couple of beaver swimming about and then we were fortunate to catch momma beaver coming out of the den for a morning dip...
Fast forward to mid afternoon, back out crankin some main lake points we noticed several momma geese on the nest. All were like this one, nest situated for the best of views...
And so there you have it. Fish 1, HuntMeister 0 but a good time was had anyway. Hope you enjoyed.
