I, and I'm sure a lot others, are getting confused on "who's on first" here....
Can you give us a brief explanation as to who and what each of these groups do?
Thanks in advance..
Natural Resources Commission...
Natural Resources Advisory Council...
Natural Resources Summer Study Committee...

Natural Resources Commision is actually the appointed group that runs the DNR. They are appointed by the Governor. www.in.gov/nrc/Natural Resources Advisory Council reports to the Natural Resources Commission. They are to screen subjects before the Commission takes the subject up. www.in.gov/nrc/advisory/Natural Resources Legislative Summer Study Committee is a committee made up entirely of legislators who decide what new natural resource legislation to tackle in the next session. www.in.gov/legislative/interim/committee/nrsc.htmlI don't profess to being an expert on the workings of state government but I have been going to these and other meetings for a few years now so I've seen how the system is supposed to operate. Most of the time it works just fine. Other times you wonder what the !@#$%^&* are these guys thinking. Hatchet Jack
