HB 1011 - Regulation of firearms during an emergency. Prohibits the state, a political subdivision, or any other person from prohibiting or restricting the lawful possession, transfer, sale, transportation, storage, display, or use of firearms or ammunition during a declared disaster emergency, energy emergency, or local disaster emergency. Repeals provisions that allow certain political subdivisions to adopt emergency ordinances to regulate firearms if a local disaster emergency has been declared.
HB 1090 - Sale of handguns. Provides that a gun show vendor is a firearms dealer for purposes of the law concerning the sale of handguns. Makes it a Class A misdemeanor for a person to purchase more than one handgun during any 30 day period. Provides for certain exceptions.
HB 1118 - Possession of firearms on certain property. Prohibits a person from adopting or enforcing a policy or rule that prohibits or has the effect of prohibiting an individual from legally possessing a firearm that is locked in the individual's motor vehicle while the motor vehicle is in or on the person's property. Excepts possession of a firearm: (1) on school property or a school bus; (2) on certain child care and shelter facility property; (3) on penal facility property; and (4) in violation of federal law. Provides that a person who, in compliance with the prohibition, does not adopt or enforce such a policy or rule is not liable for resulting injury or damage. Authorizes a civil action for damages, costs, attorney's fees, and injunctive relief to remedy a violation.

HB 1057 - Lifetime hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses. Makes permanent a provision authorizing the issuance of lifetime hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses.
HB 1066 - Hunting and fishing licenses for persons with a disability. Provides that certain persons with a disability may purchase hunting and fishing licenses at a reduced fee.
HB 1079 - Lifetime hunting licenses for military personnel. Allows a resident who serves on active duty outside the continental United States during a certain period in the armed forces of the United States or the Indiana National Guard to purchase a lifetime hunting, fishing, or trapping license.

HB 1087 - Study eradication of bush honeysuckles. Requires the natural resources study committee to study ways to contain and eradicate invasive bush honeysuckles.
HB 1050 - Time zone public question. Requires a public question to be placed on the 2008 general election ballot asking voters whether, if the entire state could be placed in the same time zone, the entire state should be located in the Central Time Zone or the Eastern Time Zone.
HB 1103 - Hidden compartments in vehicles. Prohibits a person from owning or operating a vehicle with a hidden compartment. Increases the penalty for certain drug offenses if the drugs are transported in a vehicle equipped with a hidden compartment. Permits the seizure of vehicles equipped with hidden compartments.

HB 1226 - Payment for hunting or fishing without a license. Allows a person who is issued a citation or summons for hunting, fishing, or trapping without a license to: (1) pay the conservation officer the amount due for the violation; and (2) purchase from the conservation officer a hunting, fishing, or trapping license. Establishes a convenience fee, which is to be deposited in the fish and wildlife fund.

HB 1229 - Off-road vehicle and snowmobile operation. Provides that the law under which a landowner does not owe a duty of care to a person allowed to operate a vehicle for recreational purposes on the landowner's property applies whether or not the landowner charges the person a fee.
HB 1272 - Spotlighting wild animals. Prohibits a person from casting the rays of an artificial light from a motor vehicle in search of or upon any wild bird or wild animal from October through January, whether or not an occupant of the vehicle possesses a firearm, bow, or crossbow. Establishes an exception for certain persons engaged in agricultural procedures.

HB 1269 - Headlights on motor vehicles when wipers in use. Requires a vehicle to display lighted head lamps and illuminating devices when weather conditions require the continuous operation of windshield wipers on a motor vehicle.
SB 0259 - Driving in the left lane on interstate highways. Prohibits the operation of motor vehicles in the left lane of an interstate highway except under certain conditions. Repeals and relocates language requiring the operation of a truck, truck tractor, road tractor, trailer, semitrailer, or pole trailer in the far right lane of an interstate highway having at least three lanes in one direction.

HB 1299 - Senior fishing licenses. Discontinues the fishing license exemption for residents who are at least 65 years of age. Establishes a senior fishing license for residents who are at least 60 years of age.
HB 1284 - Humane society special group license plate. Establishes the humane society special group recognition license plate, and sets fees for the plate. Establishes the humane society fund (fund), and requires the bureau of motor vehicles to deposit money from a certain fee for the plate into the fund. Requires the bureau of motor vehicles to distribute money from the fund to humane societies in Indiana.
