Well I was fortunate to harvest a nice 8pt Friday evening. I got settled in my stand around 430pm and about 530pm this guy shows up behind quietly about 25yds. I watched for probably 15 minutes before I was able to take the shot. I eased out of the woods after finding my arrow and first blood then came back with a buddy around 10PM, because I was unsure of the shot. We had solid blood for about 350yds that led all the way to him, so it was easy findings in the dark. The drag was another story though!!! Got him back to the Truck at 1am. Long Night, that was full of excitement. Hope to harvest my doe with a bow and will be heading to Ohio in a couple of weeks for some Deer Hunting. Good Luck Hoosiers!!
