I was debating going today, but I kept looking at my hunting timer watch and it said it would be a good day,so what the heck. This has to be the fastest hunting trip I have ever had.I got settled in my stand around 3:15 pm and she came in around 3:50 or 3:55..It wasn't the best shot but it got her down, she went maybe 40 or 50 yards.I'm guessing she may go 100 pounds.I feel alot better now getting one tag out of the way,now I need a nice buck..

Congrats. I got a slickhead wed. and had what would of been my best buck yesturday under me. But the little yipin mutt that chased him to me cought up to it to quick. I had my pin on him but was waiting on a better shot but it didn't happen. I had other does in under me also but no good shots. Gonna try again today in the howlin wind!

Any bow-kill is a great sucess! Congrats. Very true,I have been hooked on bow hunting since I took my very first deer with one 15 years ago( I didn't even know how to field dress one then lol)I've taken 85% percent of my deer with a bow.
