I saw and read the article on this is Outdoor Life, and am considering getting it for my gal........
It`s being marketed as useful for both wilderness outings, as well as a safety device for family members even just around town.
It has a 911 call button for emergency use, that instantly sends the 911 call, including GPS location to authorities. Additionally, it has a non-emergency button, that will send a message, along with location to pre-entered friends and family members, requesting help, for example, flat tire, or out of gas, and is advertised to work even where a cell phone can`t.
It has other cool features too, and for only $170.00 plus the $99.00 annual activation fee, it will make a great way for someone you care about to keep in constant contact, as well as alert family and authorities immediately in the event of any kind of emergency.
