I have the cold gear mock turtle neck underarmour. I originally got it for bicycling in the winter. I do use it for hunting now and then. I heat up going to the stand very easy and was looking for something to keep the moisture off of me after I cool down. It really does not work for me. I still feel the moisture and for the price...wool would be better. Scent control i do not see any advantages in using it. Others may have different opinions than mine though.

For stand hunting it just doesn't work for me.
I do have a set of it that I will be taking to Alberta , but that will almost all be spot and stalk. I think it works great for someone that is up and moving about. Sitting still on a stand? I'll stay with expedition weight polyproplene and wool.

I've got the stuff they had out last year and it keeps me warm in a duck blind but they have some REALLY thick stuff out this year and it looks much warmer/thicker. Im going to pick up a top for the cold weather I think.

I prefer the polartec power dry series. Cabela's carries a line of it under their name, Gander Mountain does as well.

I wore the UnderAmour every day in Alberta and loved it. Of course 95% of the time we were on the move trying to locate moose..
I'll stick with the expedition weight ploypropolene for stand hunting..
