Looks interesting, may have to invest in one.. www.gerbergear.com/product.php?model=0066Ready for a science lesson? Research shows that the human eye is most sensitive to the color red and much less discerning of dark colors such as blue and black. We've calibrated multiple light spectrums in a way that makes the red of blood appear to virtually jump off the ground. Once you've found the trail, you can easily toggle back and forth between the bright white xenon light and the TRAX L.E.D. mode to locate your trophy and find your way home. Then you can get on to more important things, like picking the thistles out of your backside. Finally, a light designed for hunters, by hunters. The Carnivore Blood Tracking Light combines bright xenon light with brand new, patent pending TRAX blood tracking technology. The sportsman can easily toggle between bright xenon and TRAX to find his wounded game. Utilizing seven uniquely calibrated L.E.D.s, TRAX brightly illuminates the red color of blood like no light ever before. The unique pistol grip and quick deploy 4 AA battery cartridge allows for ergonomic comfort and easy maintenance. Lanyard and sheath included

They've been out for nearly a year, but I don't know as I've heard of anyone using one...
Myself, I'm not ready to drop $40 on a light that may or may not work for me.

I have yet to read a positive review for it at any hunting site I visit, most actually favored a good old fashioned Coleman lantern over it by a substantial margin. All it has that makes it different from any other xenon flashlight is some red and blue LEDs, you can buy those a lot cheaper elsewhere.

Thanks...I just seen it in the NAHC mag. gear section...Sounded good anyways.I hate tracking in the dark, unless there is a lot of blood on the ground.

I fell for a salesman's pitch while attending a show and bought a green colored LED light which he claimed would make blood stains stand out like neon signs. Later that year I shot a deer just before dusk. By the time I got down from the tree and got it dressed out it was dark so I decided to try the light on the blood (which was heavy). I couldn't see beans. All it did was make everything look green. I had better luck using an old fashioned white light. Then at least the blood was red and easy to distinquish from everything else on the ground.

The word "worthless" comes to mind. Best tool for night blood tracking, bar none is a Coleman lantern.
