A new treestand carry harness
From another website…this looks like a great idea..“Last week I asked how much stuff you carry in. I realize I carry a lot of stuff. I also get tired of the thin junky straps that come with most stands. So in doing some thinking about how I carry my backpacking gear I stopped by the local Army surplus store this week. Lookee what I found for about $30. A load bearing vest.” “Lots of pockets on it to carry gear in. Paired it up with a padded belt (another $5) and some strapping & buckles from REI (another $5) and it was ready to go. The treestand attaches to the harness via a couple of side-clip buckles.” .

Woody you know what would really top this off? If the carry harness could double as a safety harness as well. In fact; I think that might be a great poll question, what kind of safety harness is wore most frequenty. None, belts, or full body harness. Ever since I met a guy in a wheel chair who answered none, I've never gone up a tree without one. A second question would be how high up do you usually set the stand. Me, I'm up between 21-22 feet.
