I recently purchased a Big Game brand deer cart from Rural King. I'm very disappointed in the thing, as the wheels have proved to be very weak and must be straighted every time it is used. I can't take it back because I had made some modifications to it before it was used. I'm stuck but maybe you won't be.

Now I'm glad I didn't buy it..

Thanks for the heads up on the game cart. I bought the sled and it works pretty good. You roll the deer onto it and then wrap the ropes over it and it slides fairly easily. If you have a quad then you can really slide the deer back to your truck and by leaving the deer on the sled it will load into the truck easier. But it helps to have two people.

I bought a deer cart that is made here in Indiana and it's made as strong as any others I've seen. I can't remember who it's made by but I'll check and post later. We've already had three deer on it at one time and my son pulled them to the truck by himself. If you get the deer centered you can haul allot of weight with it.

I have a rural king sled and I also used it this year to lay in while goose hunting and for pulling my decoys out on.

Thanks for the warning , while I currently have access to an ATV I'm also having to watch my out of shape back more carefully these days . Some of the places I hunt don't allow ATVs too , so sooner or later I'll have to look into getting a cart . I've seen a 300 lb. capacity foldable garden cart that looks very promising , it's also competitively priced with the deer carts and would allow domestic use as well .

I bought a deer cart from Bass pro 7-8 years ago. I have hauled alot of deer and gear on it over the years and it still works good but I need to replace a few bolts and nuts on it.
