You know, I don't think I'd ever seen the mount, let alone the *actual* picture! I think the only "picture" I'd seen was the one you sent me that you Photoshopped. ;D
How long ago was that- 7-8 years ago? Man, how time flies!

Adam hasn't given a lot of info for you guys who are curious, but that's a Tippecanoe County buck. I don't remember when he shot it, but it was between '97 and '01 (all I remember is he shot it while we were at Purdue!). It was taken in the northwestern quadrant of the county.
FWIW, my father has taken several "unique" bucks (not anywhere close to this strange, though) from our family woods which is a couple of miles away from where Adam shot this one. Most of the "unique" bucks that Dad have shot have been "lopsided"- having one normal antler and a spike on the other side, etc. I never thought about it 'till now, but it's possible the genetics are related... It's been a while since we've seen any abnormal bucks in person, though he did get a one-antlered buck on a trail camera last season.
It'd be nice to have a second buck tag, if for no other reason than to have the ability to cull some of the "freaks" out of the herd....
