Buck Fever a few days over the course of the next months, and a weekly dose of waterfowl flu. AS a teacher, I have one of the best attendance histories in the school. The rest of the year, I miss very, very rarely.

My boss hunts, as does the other full-timer at work. So if I'm sick, I'm SICK. Otherwise, it's a day off and I'm HUNTING! ;D Thinking about suggesting we all take off on Thursday.

This a very contageous virus that sometimes takes a week or two to run it's course before you are able to return to work. It usually hits me hard the first 2 weeks of November. My doctor just can't seem to prescribe any medications that work. I guess I will just have to battle thru it again this year.

I guess I must just be a little weaker because I have a feeling it is going to take me the entire month of November spent in a treestand to get over the illness I am coming down with.

Well, aparently I am healed.... With a 7th grade staff of 10 teachers, 3 others are going to be gone on Thurs. all funeral related- different ones.... I'll have to wait for buck fever to come back around in a few weeks. Next week is waterfowl flu anyway... With the early split, I always take a day.

The title of this thread had me thinking that there must be a new call out from the Drury's or Primos'!
I have taken a personal day for Friday, I am attending a mental health conference in the woods of Franklin County!

I know that I am calling in sick to myself this Friday. Forecast is for 27 deg and snow. With that coming off today and tomorrow of rains and winds, there is no way I can miss being in a tree Friday morning. Besides Friday night it is time to trade the bow out for the Browning 12 ga. There are ducks to kill this weekend.
