I see there are no Steuben Co. hunters ed classes listed on the directory. Does anyone know if there will be any? The closest one for my daughter is in Noble Co. Not a bad drive, but I'd much rather do one in my own county if possible.
It would seem with as many hunters as we have in Steuben Co. there would be a course or two each year.
Anyone know of one coming up or who to contact?

We usually have about 5 a year in Steuben County. We will probably have one at the Angola Fire Dept. the end of July or begining of August. There will also be some towards the end of the summer at the Hamilton Fish and Game and Walmart. We are way too busy to have classes right now.
I would reccomend the one at AFD. I'll let you know when we start planning and set a date.

That would be great if you would let me know when there is one. I had signed my daughter up for one in Noble Co. in Sept, but want to get her in a local one if possible.

Any word on Steuben Co. classes. Everyone I've talked to claims to know nothing about any. Nothing on the website either.

There will be a class Sept. 16th and 17th at the Angola Fire Dept. Class will run from 9 to 4 on Saturday (with lunch provided by the Angola Fire Fighters Union) and 12 to 4 on Sunday. to register call the Angola Fire Dept. any day after 4 pm at 260-665-6840.
There will also be a class the same days at the Hamilton Fish and Game club, just across the line in Dekalb county. It is already listed on the DNR website and the Angola class should be any day.
