Havn't seen too much posted on this site about safety while hunting. Could be most of us on here consider ourselves experienced enough that it's become second nature to us, and we don't need to think about it. Therein lies the danger. This opening weekend, before you venture out in the dark, take one minute to remember all the rules and precautions you've read about. We all know what they are. We've all heard the horror stories. The last thing I want to hear , is of a member of this site getting hurt.
BE SAFE!

Wear a safety harness-carry a cell phone and/or a 2-way radio to keep in contact with your hunting partner and call for help if needed, and KNOW WHAT YOUR LOCATION IS, could you tell emergency personnel how to get to you? Tell them where you are?-leave an itinerary with family or close friend who can tell someone if you`re not back when you should be and where to look for you-keep a first-aid kit in your daypack, and know how to use it-be sure of your target before you let loose of an arrow-be very sure that you HAVE YOUR CARRY PISTOL STRAPPED ON while bow hunting ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
