Winter storm watch has been canceled and we now just have a snow advisory. That probably means we will get a foot of snow.

Winter storm watch has been canceled and we now just have a snow advisory. That probably means we will get a foot of snow. From what I just saw a significant part of the state is under a Warning. They're calling for 4" to 7" here.

They say 5-10" in my area, but I will believe it when I wake up in the morning and look outside.

There is PSH going on in my area right now. The P stands for pants the H stands for hysteria the S I will leave up to interpretation.
I just saw the milk man lighting the bread man's cigar with a burning 20 dollar bill.

So much for our 4-6" of snow they were calling for.................. we BARELY have a dusting this morning!! Last time they were calling for 6-8" here, and we got a HALF INCH!! I think the weather people have the only job where you can screw up EVERY SINGLE DAY and not get fired!

That is 3 Tuesdays in a row we were told we were getting significant snow and/or ice and we received basically nothing.

Two weeks ago we did have a good amount of ice. That one also brought a lot of wind- I lost a tree in that storm. Last week didn't bring much or any snow, but it did get nasty during the storm- caused a LOT of damage around here- I lost a limb in one of my trees.
I'll take what we got last night and the little we are getting today as long as it doesn't turn into the same type of storm as the last two Tuesdays!!

Here, in Evansville/Vanderburgh Co., we got a couple inches of snow with freezing rain on top! I sent as photo of it to my Sister & Brother-In-Law who are Wintering in Florida.
