I did my paperwork and all the good stuf that you need to do to apply Dec 14th.
About how long should it take for the card to get here?

Did you go for the short one or the lifetime. Actually it does not matter, what ever you do "DO Not Hold Your Breath". They were slow befor. Personally I think they will be even slower now.

My boss got his back in around 6 weeks, recieved it right before Christmas.

My wife applied last week for her carry permit,She was advised it would be a minimum of 3 months.

Thanks folks.I did get the 3 year as I couldn`t afford the lifetime yet.
I knew it wasn`t going to be quick but 3 months LOL!!!

I got mine a couple years ago and it came back in about a month. I think the glut of lifetime apps has them backed up. Can't wait to apply for my lifetime.

my 4 years is up in oct, so i'll be putting in for lifetime in april.. before they stop that also.. i missed out on lifetime hunting, dont want to wait to long on these..

They said 3 months minimum for mine too (lifetime) but it took around 6 weeks.

I did the lifetime one in Oct. Recieved mine in 6-7 weeks.

Last summer when I renewed mine to lifetime, they told me it would take several months but I had it in about one month. Maybe I was lucky?

They're probably building in an administrative lead time just in case.
