My son is moving back home and asked me to see if he can get a duplicate life time license ( lost his ). I found information on the DNR site stating how to do this.
They say call 233-4976 for an application. I tried for 25 minutes and always got the , we are on brake and talking call back message. This might take awhile.
Anyone ever have to get a duplicate?

What was his Life license #? former address, dat of birth? You can go to the DNR website and with a few clicks- fish and wildlife, hunter ed, then go to lost license, might be able to help.

My wallet got stolen a few years back and I had the pleasure of replacing everything.
I went to the Government Center and got the paperwork in person. It has to be notarized, but they had 2 Notaries upstairs in the Main Office. They reprinted my licenses while I was back upstairs getting my Hunter Ed Instructor card reprinted. In about an hour or so I was done. Just get there early.

It took two hours to get through. They will send a form to fill out and then it will need notarized. After that it gets sent back to the state and processed.
