Looks like windy and rainy down here for the youth hunt Saturday.
Sunday things brighten up a bit.
Good luck all..

Yeah, looks bad for our area too. Not sure what the youngun will want to do. Not alot options for a 2 day hunt. I went and bought a tent blind yesterday to keep dry but if it's windy and stormy I think the deer will bunker down till she blows over.

I'll bet this first early youth hunt will not result in a very big harvest. That is too bad. Nothing you can do about the weather though. I hope a bunch of kids don't get turned off of hunting by sitting in the rain and not seeing many deer.

They may get turned off when they see a nice buck and can't shoot it. I hope they change that next year.

I know I am taking out a one of my friends children while he takes out the other one. We are hoping they both tag out the first day but if not then Sunday we are going to do it again. I am pretty confident that one will fill thier tag on Saturday we have some really great spots set up for them with a buddy stand in each.
