:)How many of you have ever been at a deer farm where they raise and sell deer. I went to a small one and he has a two year old that just got out of velvet and it is his breeder buck, 150+ and it is a two year old. His does and bucks come from a grandson out of a deer in Missouri called Geronimo, . It lived around 9 years or so and was over 200 + inches. I was wondering if using some dirt and feces from that area would work in a homemade scrape. Also the feed that they have to feed them and the vet. bills and all the state regulations, is into alot of money. But he seems to be doing well, and he does work at two jobs.

I wouldn't use any products like feces, or dirt.... danger of transmitting CWD is too great.

I visited Rush Creek Deer Lure's farm a couple of years ago by invitation of the lady who owned it . They didn't sell canned slaughter , just pee and jizz . I have to admit feeling uncomfortable while there , I don't like seeing whitetails penned up regardless of the reason .

I know what you mean-when I was at the Boat, Sport and Travel Show several years back, they had a huge buck in a stall, and he lay there like a cow and just looked at you. DID NOT feel right.
White-tails should be wild.

Kevin and Hunter, I agree with you guys completely! I saw some caged deer at the Deer and Turkey Expo one year, it made me sick.
