PETA pushes for excise tax on meatShould hunters -- or anyone who enjoys a steak or a hamburger -- have to pay extra for that little indulgence? People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals thinks so. One of the nation's largest anti-hunting organizations, the group has kicked off a "Tax Meat" Campaign, proposing a 10-cent-per-pound excise tax on meat. Animal activists have also asked federal lawmakers to give tax breaks to those who have sworn off the consumption of animals. www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/sports/outdoors/s_511961.html

For an anti-hunting group, it sure looks like they want to promote hunting.
I mean, how are you going to tax game? (I suppose it could be done with deer, because of Check-In, but bunnies & birds?)

In light of this development, I am proposing a new tax.
It is a stupidity tax. Anyone who doesn't have the common sense to see that Al Gore is a fraud, animals were put here to be eaten, or the right to bear arms is clearly listed in the 2nd amendment must forfeit every dime they earn to those of us who actually contribute to society. Sadly, this will cause little redistribution of wealth, as most of these flower child hippy worthless scum suckers are unemployed ex-weed growers living in VW vans playing guitars outside of starbucks while their children, moonbeam, peaceful-wave, lily of the valley, and cumulonimbus, do gymnatstics at halftime of the local pickup basketball game...
i HATE these people...and that is no exaggeration...

Al Gore a fraud? Who woulda thought? I agree, but I also agree with some of his global warming views. And, what have you got against weed growers? If it were not illegal, I would have a few plants myself. Marijuana is so NOT what many want you to think. Legalize weed and let the police go after serious criminals. ( . . . . like seat belt violations . . . .)

tax, tax, tax......Jesus H. Murphy, is that all those little ankle-biters can think of(other than infringing on my right to feed my family fresh food?)?
Kinda like bikes and guns...they can have my steak, venison and chicken when they pry it from my cold, dead fingers(and clenched jaws)...

If it wasn't for Al Gore inventing the internet, we wouldn't be able to be here discussing the stupidity tax!
