Which time slot do you prefer hunting? Mornings or evenings?

Morning , I'm used to being up at 4:30 am anyway because of my job , and there's usually more movement then .

Had success with both, but my property caters more toward morning hunts. I'm much closer to the food source and catch them on their way to their beds.
In the evenings, it's often too close or already past legal shooting light by the time they make it out on my property.

Best hunt in Mornings, maybe because hunting in the evening I am thinking ,man I hope if I shoot one he goes down quick, hope I find him befor real dark.will I find a checking station open tonight. Will I process the deer myself around midnight. will the process place be open.Might have to drag this sucker a mile.only 25 miles to check station.Boy I am hungry.what time does the game come on tonight. and so on.!

I hunt whenever I can. I average as much (or more) evening time as mornings, but I prefer mornings. About the only time I can hunt mornings is if I have the day off or it's a weekend.

Mornings if I am by myself. Evenings if I have hunting buddies. I'll be one to admit I don't like tracking deer in the dark by myself. Call me a sissy. With some buddies, I actually like it more at night than during the day. It seems like a party. As far as activity, I don't see much of a difference. I think back to some of the last deer I shot and it is about even.

I enjoy hunting in the morning but historically most of my sightings and most of kills have been in the evening.

I prefer mornings. I love being on stand an hour before sunup to watch & listen to the early risers & the returning nocturnal critters. I hate bumping bedded deer in the evening going to stand. I do not care for tracking deer after dark, as it is so easy to miss small spots of blood & tuffs of hair.
