Another "Day without immigrant" march is set for Tuesday..... We need everyone to go cut down the tennis nets at the local parks so we can sew them all together........

All the people in my graduate program love to march in this thing...my great-grandparents were immigrants to this country who were LEGAL, worked for their money, and learned to speak English the best they could...if they can do it, I'm sure all the others can do it too!

I guess there won't be much landscaping or bricklaying going on tomorrow.

Frankly the "illegal" aspect of it all doesn't bother me as much as the "I won't assimilate" aspect.
Hello! You left your homeland because it is screwed up! Why in the name of John Moses Browning do you want to remake the US into that screwed-up image?
Peh.

No amnesty! We were sold a bill of lies the LAST time we were told this would be the LAST TIME.(1986) Laws were passed and simply ignored the minute john q public bought it. Secure the Border. Deport the illegals. Remove those in office who support them, regardless of the cost to our country, starting at the very top.
Just exactly what part of 'illegal' is misunderstood here? Our own government is selling us all out simply to supply ever cheaper labor to big business, and it is all about that. Period.

Sounds like a good place to start a convoy south. Illegal; ship them back. Then fine daylights out of the company that hired them.

Mexican illegal immigrants love to say, "I didn't cross the border, the border crossed me." Which is amazing, since I thought that border had stayed the same since the late 1800's.
When I hear that ignorant BS, i want to start smacking people...

I didn't cross the border, the border crossed me. This is the same line of logic used by many liberals also!

I have a real hard time understanding all of this.
"ILLEGAL"
That means they didn't follow the rules, ........
So, I don't understand how any group of "ILLEGALS" can stand up and ask us to look the other way?
Now, for the question of the day...............
How many that marched in this country on Tuesday were ILLEGAL?
Why didn't law enforcement set up check points and check the marchers, and take the ILLEGALS into custudy?
If a group of un-caught bank robbers got togather and had a march, would the police just sit and watch or would they make arrests?
There are ways to get into the USA legally......send the ILLEGALS back and make them do it right!

I was up in Chopper shooting the march in Indy yesterday....... The crowd was much smaller than last year, but still sizeable. All the Chopper guys were talking amongst ourselves as we hovered overhead.....one of the pilots asked, "Wonder why the turnout is so much lower than last year?" to which my pilot replied, "It might be that Border Patrol truck sitting down there..." LOL.
The worse part about this situation is that these illegals are coming over, then instantly having a baby.....just so that the child will be a US citizen. That's what's really backing us into a corner, how to handle that situation. I personally feel that if the Mom is here illegally, than the child should not be able to gain US Citizen status.

I love some of the Mexican people and used to have quite a few working for me. They were very hard workers on the whole and would do anything for ya. They used to pitch together and bring food and a birthday cake for my birthday. When I got married, the ladies threw a wedding shower for me. I felt a little awkward participating in something chicks normally do, but grateful at the same time. having said that I don't think they are all like that in many parts of the country where they seem to be the majority. I had some that tried to speak english and made an effort to learn and others that never spoke a word of english in 5 years. Pretty much all were very nice though. I had more problems with the white trash. Just wanted to share a take from another perspective.

Last year was a total fiasco is why. What was intended to draw sympathy, simply drew attention to a subject many Americans were unaware of. That our government simply blew us off 20 years ago and have covered up the problem ever since. 20 years ago government passed 'immigration reform', new laws, and granted amnesty to all the THEN illegal aliens, with the promise it was fixed and would never happen again. Americans fell for it.
20 years later, illegal aliens are marching in our streets by the hundreds of thousands DEMANDING we do as they wish. We find we now have between 12 and 50 million illegals, and that our president is pushing every button he can push to grant them all amnesty and through the nau abolish any and all borders period! Illegals are driving wages down, and are making big business billions of dollars. That is the basics of it.
The protests for the most part backfired, and many realize it and stayed home this year.
