Hey guys. I have been meaning to post this for awhile now. Over the last month or maybe two, everyone I know, family and friends, have been having trouble sleeping through the night. And/or getting to sleep, and/or feeling as if they got a good nights rest. Both of us started noticing it was becoming nightly, and then as we started mentioning it, found out almost everyone we know has been going through the same thing with no apparent cause.
Comments?

John- Dunno-maybe it`s something in the air-maybe it`s the Iranians who kidnapped the British sailors-maybe it`s the carnage and evil in Iraq-maybe it`s the millions of babies butchered by abortion-maybe it`s God`s spirit talking to all of us. We live in a turbulent time, so much is unsettled and shaky, men call evil good, and good evil. Maybe it`s even just indigestion-lol. Seriously John-God talks to us-maybe His spirit is moving.

On the days that I have to get up at 3:00a.m., I cannot sleep the night before. I've even tried over the counter sleep aids. They help me fall asleep, only to wake up an hour later sweating my arse off! I just cannot go to bed at 7:30 p.m.!

I have no idea, but I find it odd that so many people I have mentioned this to have are also experiencing it. Just curious to see if its just in my little circle or what.

I have lain in bed several times this month past 4 am before I dozed off. Which is really less than helpful when you must get up at 6 for work. When I get to sleep before 1, I almost always wake up at least once before time to get up.

It's called.... Spring. Biological activity is ramping up in everything.
My wife, who is BiPolar, has to be doubly careful in Spring to not start running Manic...
On the other hand, 'm just fighting an abdominal abcess... so I sleep a LOT (but not well...)

It's all due to the changing of the season's and some stupid politician changing the clocks!

I am 46, and never ran into a problem with the previous 45 years. But, with only 3 votes, it apparently isn't very widespread anyway. Just everyone we know . . . Maybe its US . . .

I'm so tired at the end of a long day of work (and procrastination) that I can sleep however long I want! My wife, who is BiPolar, has to be doubly careful in Spring to not start running Manic... On the other hand, 'm just fighting an abdominal abcess... so I sleep a LOT (but not well...) It's a sad truth of bipolar disorder; you can have a dangerous manic phase brought on by the season change. Please give my best to your wife in controlling this terrible and turbulent disorder.

Not sure what it is but been having the same problems. Can't go to bed till late and wake up inbetween.
No doubt Spring has some effect as well as DST, eating dinner at 8-9PM doesn't help me much for sleeping.

I haven't been sleeping well for the last month. I have been going to bed a little earlier and waking up a dozen or more times a night, every night. I am sure it has something to do with the travel I have been doing for work. Different hotels, different time zones, and missing home is not a good mix!

For the most part, I don't have trouble sleeping. However, one-in-awhile I do wake, thinking it's almost time to get up, and the clock says 11:30 pm, and then I do have trouble getting back to sleep.

It's VERY Important to check with your Doctor, before taking any OTC medication. It might interact with prescription medication you might be presently taking.
