Did anyone catch the 3 episodes last night? WOW!!!! Some incredible footage for certain...some of the animals actions had never been caught on tape / film before. I only wish it were being broadcast in High Definition, but I'm sure that some of their video cameras weren't HD since this thing took like 5 years to shoot.
Anyway.........certainly worth watching if you are a nature lover!

Yes, and they were absolutely incredible. Based on some of the footage, I can see why it took 5 years to tape.
Thank the Lord for TiVo....those will be watched over and over again!

Those birds doing mating dances in the jungle (I think New Guinea or somewhere?) was amazing!

I watched the first program, and frankly walked away disappointed. It wasn't any better than some nature shows that I've seen.

You can tell that some of the scenes were not shot with an HD camera, but those scenes still have way better pq than the standard def Discovery channel.

Was it on The Discovery Channel HD Theater in HD or regular Discovery Channel? We have just the straight TDC, but it's not a HD channel unfortunately. I'd love to have see some of the images in high-def.

For one, they are hardly ever about any animals that I care to learn about. And two, often they are anti-hunting biased.
