IMO this could possibly be the most useful document ever compiled by any government flack. It would be an amazing read to see what and why rules were changed since the inception of the DNR. Little things like the introduction of Pumkinball Slug Hunting for deer (weren't no sabots or rifleing then...) then the introduction of Sidelock Muzzleloader hunting (weren't no inlines, sabots or "smokeless MLs" then...) Would truely be amazing to see how modern technology (vs. guns designed in the late 1800s) changed the capabilities of hunting equipment since their introduction by rule...
