Mr. Williams, the forum is difficult to read. Orange and white on black is very contrast, makes me tired.

I also got Elk Cow tag. Awesome! And need to buy rifle too, my 6.5x55 doesn't qualify, minimum has to be .270. Very happy.

I need to ask your advice, what would be the best way to learn how to use duck call? I mean I understand practice is the key, my question is: is there any class I can take, or should I start searching for private lessons? Really appreciate your help.

Thanks a lot. As I said my head is spinning now but I asked girl that works for me to come over on Monday and watch the shop so I can get out of city. Can't wait.

I've been so busy lately and didn't follow the new rules, please forgive me for the question. Bow season starts in a few days and I am planing going on opening day. Do I need to have anything orange on me? Thank you in advance.

If no one buys it I will make a roaster myself and would definitely keep it. That was my initial plan anyway.

I like russian recipe since I am a Russian. Rabbit in Sour Cream recipe
Ingredients: 1 3-lb rabbit cut into 10-12 pieces 1 medium onion, chopped 2 cups sour cream 1/2 cup dry white wine 2 tbsp brandy 3 tbsp butter 1 large bay leaf pinch of nutmeg mushrooms salt ground black pepper
Method: Season the rabbit pieces with salt and pepper and fry in butter until a brownish-red crust forms (the meat does not have to be cooked through at this point). Remove from the pan and place on the bottom of a Dutch oven or a heavy casserole. Return the pan to the heat and saute the onions (adding more butter, if necessary), until they are tender and slightly golden, about 10 minutes. Drain the onions on paper towels and add to the rabbit. Add mushrooms. Whisk together sour cream, wine, and brandy. Pour over the rabbit and onions. Bring to a simmer and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Add the bay leaf, cover, and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes. Serve with pan-fried potatoes.
