I have had these boots for a few years and I bet I've only worn them a couple of times. They've just been sitting in storage, so I may as well part with them. I bought them new from Cabela's, and I want to say that I paid somewhere between $150 and $200 for them. They are comfort rated at 135 degrees below zero, and are waterproof. If you want a warm boot for the very cold late season, then these are the boots for you. I'm too big of a wimp to sit out in late December. LOL! There are NO rips, tears, or wear, but there is a little bit of dirt/dust on them. $75 and I would be willing to ship on your dime (if I can find a decent box) if you are too far from Bedford. I did find an ad for a pair in a smaller size on eBay for comparison: www.ebay.com/itm/LaCrosse-12-Snow-King-Insulated-500-Gram-Waterproof-Boots-Size-7-Style-29976-/181029802093Man, I wish you didn't have woman's feet. That's a good deal.

I thought you had to have a trapping license even on your private property, I have now seen that you don't. I thought you needed one to sell the fur According to the Hunting guide trapping is covered the same as hunting and fishing. I don't know about needing one to sell hides though. I've never sold any.

You aren't that far from Morgan-Monroe state forest. I've heard it isn't bad. Or Yellowood.

Dialed in my Accura V2 today. Shot Powerbelt Platinum 270 gr and TC XTP bullets in Mag Express sabots, 240 gr. Those TC's really impressed me. 1" group at 100 yards. Not so with the Powerbelts. They were accurate but not that accurate. Looking for some does on my place Saturday I usually use the TC (hornady) 240gr XTP, but found I only had 3 left. Re sighted my Optima for 245gr Powerbelts tonight as I had a whole pack of them. Went on Midway to order XTP and found the TC package of 30 for $0.10 less per piece than the Hornady 20 pack. FYI.

I wash mine in no scent wash and hang dry. They stay in a plastic tote with earth scent waffers when I am not wearing them. I have not been scented in a long time. This may come as a surprise, but I shot my last two with a cigarette in my mouth. Stress got me smoking again, but have some chantex. Please have someone monitor your "state of mind" while taking Chantix. It has been known to cause people to do crazy things.

Mechanical blades tend to not lock open once inside the animal, so a less than perfect shot will not continue to do damage like a fixed blade head will.

Saw one doe tonight. Heard grunting, saw her trotting down a hill on the neighbors place with her tail up. Expected to see a buck, never did. I lost her in some brush, but she appeared about 15 minutes later off to my right about 30 yards. Difficult shot, wrong side. I stood up and got a rest on the stand arms. She walked behind a tree, I took careful aim behind the shoulder and fired. She jumped and ran about 20 yards and stopped. I thought she might fall over, but she didn't. With the luck I've been having I thought I better shot her again. I took careful aim and fired. She fell down and kicked, then I lost her behind some brush. I heard crashing and thought maybe she was running away. I gave her 30 minutes and got down. Went to where she had been, lots of blood. About 15 feet away is a wash, she was laying at the bottom of it. Upon examination my first shot was back, I hit the liver good though. She would have expired. My second shot split her heart open like a butterfly and broke the opposite shoulder. Entrance wound Exit I didn't get a pic of just her. Lol

The loggers use my food plot area as the loading/landing for the skidders, so it gets compacted bad. I till it before planting, but still think they would be good to break up the soil.
