He did put a little more antler width and appears some mass as well. It would've been hard to pass on him in the before picture for me. It appears he lost his eye guard kickers this year though, what a bummer Nah, he's still got the one on his right side. You can see it in the 3rd photo, it's at least a couple inches long this year.

Not sure what he looked like when you passed on him, but he looks like he would fit the bill for a wall hanger this year. This was him last year

I thought about getting an Athens the last time i was ready for a new bow. I decided on a different company and am very happy with my current set up. That being said, did you like this bow? What was your take on them, if you have a second to let me know? I have been shooting Athens bows since 2010. I have loved every one of them and will probably not shoot another brand while they are still making bows. Easy to tune, easy to draw, unbeatable Lifetime Transferrable warranty.

I haven't been able to be as active on here or in the woods this year, unfortunately. We bought a house, sold our old one, upgrading the new one, put both boys into a new school....It's been a busy 2021! Hopefully getting back into the woods in the next couple weeks and of course won't be missing the first 2 weeks of November.

Hit the farms around home Saturday night for some coyote management. Ending up calling in 12. Shot 6 or 7, recovered 2 of those. Called in 3 "triples"...it ain't easy at night!

Already in the stand, drinking my coffee, waiting for the woods to wake up.

I was watching some hens fly across the power line cut, and when the last few were about to land on the other side, I saw the bobcat fly into the air and try to grab one of the hens. My jaw about dropped to the bottom of the tree stand. It didn't manage to grab one of them, and immediately started heading my direction. I was able to get my camera out and get the best footage I've taken of a bobcat, so far.

Been a slow day.
I did however just watch a bobcat go airborne trying to catch a turkey that was flying over its head...and then it walked right to me.

Back in same stand as this morning. Already had some does come through while I was getting situated. Wind has calmed down and I can hear everything moving in the woods. Luckily my walk in was through grass, so nothing could hear me.

I use an ATN Xsight 4k with a Sniper Hog Light...for the money, it's the best way to go, imo. I have had great success with it. I typically hunt about 20 or so night per year, and what i have found to be the most useful, is to have a thermal scanner in addition to the night vision scope. This lets you scan your calling area, looking for movement, without swinging your gun around. Once you see something on the scanner, then you can swing your gun to ID the animal.

6 does came in early and are feeding behind me. No bucks paying a visit, yet, but I gotta believe there will be.
