Jack:
Has there been any more discussion or resolution on the minnehaha issue?
I know some of the property was listed for sale and appears to have been sold.

Ditto. If I was only limited to hunt only 5 days a year those 5 days would be the 5th-9th of November. Every year!

right, I asked the same question awhile back and Woody explained to me that have having the ad banners makes the site MUCH more affordable to operate. Woody has no control over what advertisements come up on this site. The software Proboard uses puts them up based on content of the thread. All of us (well, except for a few) may put down Obama but the fact his name is one here gets us pro Obama adds, nothing can be done about it. If Woody was a multi-millionare and could afford to pay for the service without adds then you wouldn't see them, that's the price for free web hosting.

hey travis: It's time to roll up the 'jump to conclusions mat.' I'm sure not supporting Obama and not for McCain either. Like so many americans I am dissatisfied with both of the major parties in Washington. In a recent post, Woody linked to the dismal approval ratings of the congress and bush (about 30 and 34% respectively if I remember right). I am a lot more of a conservative than a liberal but I am fed up with the failures of both parties. If someone is opposed to Obama (or McCain), that's fine by me, but they need to base their reasoning on facts not some propaganda that you got in an email or read online. Too many of the posts on here are the usual conservative propaganda or outright lies. I don't think we should attack each other based on ones candidate choice. I'll agree that we should not attack each other, but I'll attack statements and question the logic behind opinions all day long on this. I'm not one to throw poop on the wall so everyone can see it, then run away without taking questions as to why and how the poop was thrown. I'll make very pointed criticisms of BHO, and if any of the forum Dems want to take me to task on them I'll gladly debate my stance. My point was that it's normal for the few misguided souls on here to put up an anti-McCain, anti-Palin post.....and maybe respond a time or two, but when the heat gets turned up you never see a reply to the members questions...... Stick and run I guess is the technique.........

Totally agree with you Jack! Bob Barr or Ron Paul either one would be better choices than all of Palin, McBush, Obomba, and Biden put together. At least they have clue enough to know this country is in sad shape and the solution doesn't involve more of the same that's gotton us here. When you don't know how to fix something, you go back to the way it was when it worked. You don't just keep beating it in to worse shape.

If you measure greatness by public approval ratings then Sarah Palin is a great governor. I have read her record and it's clear that she has done many great things for the people of Alaska. But does she have the experience to be in #2 position in this country? THAT is the question that so many Americans have right now. In Alaska over 80% of the people there like what she is doing,Now when in your time has any politican had an 80% ...that's 8 out of 10 people....or higher approval rate? I'll take those odds anytime on anything.......

here's an interesting quote I read today...
"...Now that they have the electric Palin, they’ve stopped arguing that celebrity is bad. All they do is worship at her cult of celebrity. As Rick Davis, a top McCain adviser, said: “This election is not about issues. This election is about a composite view of what people take away from these candidates.”
it's amazing how a virtually unknown small town mayor turned Governer is elevated to cult celebrity seemingly overnight!

Great to hear you are shooting well with it. It all comes down to personal preference with archery gear. Bear makes very good products, I have an old bear whitetail 2 that is still a deer killer at nearly 20 years old! WELL I GOT THE BEAR INSTINCT AND IT SHOOTS GOOD FOR ME THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT
