I've skinned a lot of black rat snakes over the years. My niece dropped a dead one off today that was 4'8" long and very fat. When I opened it up there were 5 baby rabbits in it. Of all the rat snakes I've skinned, I've never seen a mouse inside one. I have found quite a few with rabbits in them.

That is wild! I never would have thought that a rat snake would be able to catch and eat a baby rabbit. Just another reason I don't care for snakes

I'm a big fan of black (rat) snakes around the house. Almost a silent-hidden small mammal killer.
