I worked with a guy that liked to take trips to Atlantic City, NJ. I don't know how often he took a pistol with him, but the last time he did and left it in the hotel room. He realized that when he was on the road home, but just a few miles from the hotel. His wife called the hotel to inform them that they were on the way back to pick up a handgun that was accidentally left in the room. They were met by local and state police upon arrival. He was cuffed and stuffed after a brief interrogation. He spent a few nights in jail and was fined several thousand $$. I don't know what the end result was, but I know he was facing some serious charges.
I know, it's on him to know the law, but he was nothing more than a very nice person that made a mistake.

And this is why we need reciprocity. It could have been when Trump had both houses but they did not carry it through. I know it could be argued as a 2A right but that takes $millions and who knows how long to work it's way through the courts.

GOA has a lawsuit against NY State now that could end up in the Supreme Court and that would open the door to nationwice CC.
